The battle for survival in the Betfred Super League is growing more intense with each round and two of the sides in danger have a chance of easing the pressure on Sunday.

A look at the match betting, though, suggests things could become even more perilous for Huddersfield Giants and Wakefield Trinity.

Both sides have been in freefall recently and are scrapping to remain in the top flight.

The Giants look to have it the toughest in this round of fixtures - they are 9-4 to win at Salford, while Wakey are 7-4 to get the better of highflying Hull FC.

Neither side can be trusted at those prices, but there may be scope to support Huddersfield in receipt of eight points on the handicap.

Their last two trips to Salford have yielded wins, most recently when they edged to a 32-28 victory last month.

They also won 30-12 in May 2018 so it's not a venue that appears to faze them.

The Giants have won two of their last three away trips and although a win may be out of reach this time they should be backed with a two-score start.

Wakefield are handed a six-point buffer against playoff hopefuls Hull but that looks on the skinny side.

The Airlie Birds were hammered 72-10 on their last trip to Belle Vue but prior to that they won their last three at the venue and they look a different level to the Wildcats, who have lost four on the bounce.
