Wakefield Trinity stunned Warrington Wolves with a 38-22 victory in the Betfred Super League last week and it is not beyond the realms of possibility that they can repeat the trick in the Challenge Cup just eight days later.

Trinity hadn't won at the Halliwell Jones Stadium since 2014 but they halted that run in some style and they may be able to bring the Wolves' cup hopes to an end too.

It's two wins from two for Wakey in their most recent meetings with Warrington and they will be full of confidence ahead of this mouth-watering sixth-round tie.

Willie Poching's men made a slow start to the season, losing their first four, but they were competitive in all of those games apart from a drubbing against Leeds.

Wakefield can't be ignored in this tie given the impressive nature of their win over Warrington last Saturday and they will have their backers at 3-1 for victory.

However, a reaction can be expected from the Wolves who are 1-4 for victory and have spent the past week licking their wounds so taking a ten-point start on the match handicap looks a better way to support the visitors.

Warrington have been handicap losers in four of their opening six matches this season and this could a competitive encounter.
