Match preview

Wakefield Trinity have picked up following a slow start to the season and they can give the Wigan Warriors a fright in their Betfred Challenge Cup quarter-final at Belle Vue on Sunday.

It's four wins on the bounce for Willie Poching's men who have downed big-spending Warrington twice in that sequence, one of those to set up this crack at another of Super League's big boys.

Trinity love taking on the top dogs and got the better of Leeds, Warrington and Wigan on home soil last season.

They were 14-6 home victors over the Warriors last term and although they lost the previous two meetings at Belle Vue, they were narrow one and eight-point losses.

Wigan edged past Hull in their last league outing and will fancy their chances of progressing to the last four after a decent start to the season.

However, as Warrington found out, it won't be easy and backing Trinity with an eight-point handicap start looks the way to go.
