Sharks can keep up surge with cosy win at Roosters

Cronulla Sharks look worth backing to give up four-and-a-half points in beating the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium today.

The Sharks are bidding to return to the top of the NRL standings with seven rounds of the regular season remaining and they have won 13 games on the spin including away trips to the playoff-chasing Panthers, Bulldogs, Raiders and Tigers as well as the bottom-of-the-table Knights.

By contrast their hosts are all but mathematically out of the playoff-place race and are not looking in the slightest like three-time reigning minor premiers. The Roosters have lost four in a row and ten of their last 13 games.
