Hull KR can avoid humiliation against Leeds again

Rhinos may not run over Rovers

Hull KR v Leeds
3pm Sunday

Hull KR have a wretched record against Leeds but despite losing five of their last encounters with the Rhinos, only once have they been beaten by more than the handicap mark of 14 points for this game.

That was in a Super League clash in May 2015 when the Robins lost 36-16 at Headingley. Since then, though, KR have fared better.

They won the next meeting 30-10 but have lost the last three including a 20-11 reversal in round two of this year's competition. That was their heaviest defeat to the Rhinos since that 2015 effort and they should be confident of staying in touch with the champions.

A victory looks beyond Rovers, who have won just three of their 12 league outings this season, but staying within the handicap should be possible.

Leeds have lost their last two games by single-figure margins to Wigan and Hull and may just be happy to get back to winning ways at a tricky venue.
