Hull slumped to a surprise 25-24 defeat to struggling Catalans Dragons last week but they can bounce back with a vital victory over top-four rivals Castleford.

It won't be easy, though, for the Black & Whites who have struggled for consistency all season mainly due to injury concerns, although they welcome back Jamie Shaul and Marc Sneyd for this match with Albert Kelly missing out.

Cas also have their own issues regarding player wellbeing, with star man and current Super League man of steel, Luke Gale having been ruled out for at least three months with a fractured knee-cap picked up in last week's derby win over Wakefield.

It's three wins apiece from the last six meetings while Cas took the honours 28-18 when the pair met in February.

Hull go off as 8-13 favourites and are asked to cover a four-point handicap but better value looks to be the 2-1 that they win by a dozen points or fewer.

Just two of the last six meetings have been settled by a greater margin.

Recommendation
Hull to win by one to 12 points
2pts 2-1 Hills
