Friday's Super League predictions and rugby league tips for all the action on Friday night, including the televised game between Hull FC and Wakefield Trinity.

Hull FC v Wakefield Trinity

Where to watch

Sky Sports Arena, 7.45pm Friday

Best bet

Hull FC -14
2pts 10-11 Betfair, Paddy Power

Preview

Hull FC have scored exactly 26 points in each of their last three meetings with Wakefield Trinity and a similar points total may be enough to help the Black & Whites land their third win of the fledgling Betfred Super League season.

Hull's unbeaten start includes last week's thrilling 14-14 draw with Warrington and they will be confident of taking down a Trinity side who have lost all three opening fixtures.

And it's easy to see why.

Wakey have scored just 34 points in their three league matches and scored only six in their Challenge Cup defeat at Catalans Dragons.

Chris Chester's men have scored just one converted try in three consecutive matches and that spells danger at the KCom Stadium.

Hull have gone about their business nicely and an emphasis on defence has paid dividends. Hooker Danny Houghton set a rugby league record for most tackles in a match with his 85 against Warrington and it's hard to see Wakefield finding a way through.

The Airlie Birds can strike from all areas of the pitch in attack and it may be a long night for the visitors, who go off as 11-2 outsiders.

Hull are just 1-6 for victory but backing them to cover a 14-point handicap looks the way to go.

Hull KR v Leeds Rhinos 6pm

Best bet

Hull KR +6
1pt Evs bet365, Hills

Preview

It's been a mixed bag for these two in the opening three rounds of the season and in what is usually a lively fixture it may pay to follow the home side on the handicap.

Leeds are riddled with injuries and have lost their last two while Hull KR got the better of Huddersfield in their last outing.

The last seven meetings have featured points totals of, 57, 66, 62, 48, 52, 71 and 74 and when markets become available a wager on another high points total may be the way to go.

In the meantime, backing the Robins with a converted-try start looks a decent bet.

Leeds have dominated this fixture recently, winning four of the last five, but Rovers' new-look squad showed positive signs in the Huddersfield win and they may improve further with another game under their belts.

Salford Red Devils v Leigh Centurions 6pm

Best bet

Salford Red Devils -8
2pts 10-11 Betfred, Hills

Preview

These two have had a miserable start to the new campaign losing all three league fixtures and both will be desperate to get off the mark.

Neither side are particularly trustworthy but Salford look to have the extra quality and experience while Leigh have had a hard time on their step up from the Championship.

The Red Devils have posted just 16 points in their opening three league games against St Helens, Hull FC and Catalans but this looks a much more winnable fixture.

Backing Salford to cover the handicap looks the best bet.
