Leeds Rhinos' last televised outing in the Betfred Super League turned into a horror show but the Yorkshiremen can exorcise their demons with a victory at Salford Red Devils on Friday.

That 31-8 defeat at home to Hull FC last Thursday was a miserable effort and another poor performance from Richard Agar's men, who have lost four of their opening five matches in 2022.

But they will be pleased to see the Red Devils up next as the Rhinos have won their last five meetings with the men from Manchester who have won just two of their first five matches of the new campaign.

Leeds have had to do it the hard way with injuries and suspensions piling up plus an unkind schedule, with Leeds facing four of the current top six sides in their opening five rounds.

Things should start to get easier for the Rhinos and this fixture looks a good place to start.

Leeds won 38-12 the last time these two sides met at Salford, who are also struggling and have lost their last three matches.

Hull KR are another side finding things hard and they face a long trip to Catalans on Friday.

The Robins have won just two games this season and managed just 82 points in the opening five rounds.

The Dragons hammered Wigan 28-0 on home soil last week and have won their last five meetings with the Red & Whites.

KR have lost six of their last seven trips to Catalans with those defeats by margins of 18, 2, 30, 2, 18 and 8 but things should be more comfortable for the home side this time around and they can take care of a 14-point handicap in Perpignan.
