BBC2, 2.45pm Sunday

No second-tier sides have reached the last four of the Coral Challenge Cup since 2006 but either Bradford or Halifax will achieve that after Sunday's all-Betfred Championship quarter-final.

Bradford stunned Super League neighbours Leeds with a 24-22 success in the last round, but they have lost the other three of their last four games, going down by 20 points in Toronto, by seven at home to Halifax and being thrashed 42-4 at Featherstone last time.

Fax are also coming into the game after a defeat having followed their win over the Bulls with a 24-16 loss to Batley, leaving the teams together on 16 points after 15 league games.

Halifax had an easier task getting this far, dispatching Championship strugglers Dewsbury, and they have confirmed Simon Grix as their permanent head coach since that game.

Fax made four changes from their win over Bradford against Batley, with Jon Luke Kirby playing his first game on loan from Huddersfield.

Bradford are boosted by the return from injury of centre Jake Webster, Dalton Grant and Rowan Milnes.

It should be another close contest with so much at stake, but Fax look worth a small interest as outsiders.

Recommendation
Halifax
1pt 5-4 Betfred, Hills
