Wakefield Trinity secured their first Betfred Super League win of the season at the seventh time of asking last week but they may be made to wait to double that tally when they take on in-form Huddersfield Giants.

Wakey's 28-12 win over Hull KR was a bright spot in a so-far miserable campaign but the feelgood factor from that triumph may quickly evaporate against the Giants, who are getting into their stride under new coach Ian Watson.

The former Salford coach lost his opening four games at the John Smith's Stadium but his side have won three on the bounce and are starting to look the threat many expected them to be.

Leigh, Warrington and Leeds have all been sent packing by the west Yorkshire outfit and they can make it four on the bounce against a Trinity side averaging just over 15 points per game.

One side showing no signs of improvement are Leigh Centurions, who are having a miserable time of it on their return to the top flight.

The Centurions have lost all seven matches and are shipping just north of 35 points per game.

That's an alarming figure and it could be a long afternoon in Hull against a Rovers side who have won three of their last five.

Last week's defeat at Wakefield was a setback but the Robins have won five of their last six meetings with Leigh and can bounce back on home soil.
