Stirling Albion continue to be overlooked by the layers and they appear to have a great chance of winning their fourth match in a row at home to Elgin City.

The Binos have completely turned the corner, winning at Stenhousemuir, Albion Rovers and Annan Athletic.

Opponents Elgin lost at home to Stenny last week and have lost three of their last four games.

Stirling have already beaten City home and away in Ladbrokes League Two this season and they are in much better form now.

Veteran striker Darryl Duffy has bagged five goals in his last two games and will fancy his chances of adding to his tally against the Borough Briggs outfit to help his side continue their playoff charge.

Inverness boast an outstanding record against Ayr United and they can enhance that with victory at Somerset Park.

Caley Thistle love playing the Honest Men – they have won both of this season’s meetings 2-0 and took four of the six games between the sides last season including in the playoffs. Indeed, it’s eight years since Ayr beat Inverness.

John Robertson’s side have won their last two games – away to Alloa and Dundee – and will want to finish best of the rest in the Ladbrokes Championship behind leaders Dundee United. Victory would move them to within seven points of United.

Ayr have lost four of their ten home league games this season and Inverness can make that five against their favourite opponents.

Also in the second tier, Alloa are an outrageous price to win at Queen of the South.

Peter Grant has done a fine job as the Wasps attempt to perform their annual survival attempt as one of only two part-time teams in the league.

They comfortably defeated fellow part-timers Arbroath in midweek and travel to Dumfries to face an outfit who were left reeling this week after Rangers recalled loan keeper Robby McCrorie to send him to Livingston instead.

Alloa have already won at Queen of the South this term and with young striker Kevin O’Hara, who has netted six goals in his last five games, in their ranks, they can repeat the trick.

The hosts haven’t played for three weeks and Alloa can pounce on any rustiness.
