There are 37 Englishmen going to post in the Dunhill Links Championship, but 9-1 still looks a generous price about Chris Wood emerging from the pack to end the week as the best of them.

After 72 holes at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns, links master Wood should be in or around the Dunhill lead. He has finished in the top ten in his last three Dunhill starts.

Ryan Fox has precious little to beat in the top Australasian market and is worthy of support at 7-2. Fox has shown a liking for links golf this year and possesses all the tools required to succeed in this assignment.
