Romero looks to have taken to Turkish test
Argentinian ready to push on after fine first round
Sky Sports Golf, 9am Friday
There were some low scores in the first round of the Turkish Airlines Open and Andres Romero can build on his excellent opening 65.
The Argentinian won the BMW International earlier this season and while he has not been great nick since that June success - ninth at the European Masters stands out as his next-best effort - the straight hitter found the Regnum Carya test to his liking on Thursday.
He is offered at 3-1 to win his threeball at 8.55am and that is worth taking.
The group enjoyed an excellent first day as Romero was joined in fourth spot by three-time major winner Padraig Harrington.
The Irishman has posted just one top-25 finish since he was fourth in July's Scottish Open and could struggle to keep up with the pace.
The third member, Abingdon's Eddie Pepperell, has posted top-ten finishes in five of his last six events and will be geared to push on after his opening 66.
But at evens, he may just be a shade short and Romero offers a better value alternative.
Recommendation
A Romero to win threeball
