Jimmy Walker ready to enhance Byron Nelson aspirations in third round
Major champion lurking four shots behind leader Marc Leishman
Round three
Live on Sky Sports Golf, from 6pm Saturday
Marc Leishman holds a one-shot advantage heading into the weekend at the AT&T Byron Nelson after the Aussie fired a 66 in Friday's second round.
Leishman is 6-4 to go on and claim a fourth PGA Tour win on Sunday but there is no shortage of challengers.
Aaron Wise trails the leader by a single shot after he carded a second-round 63 to move to 14 under, while Brian Gay shot 62 to move within two shots of the lead.
Former USPGA champion Jimmy Walker is also lurking dangerously at four shots back in a tie for fourth place. He looks sure to have a big say on proceedings as he continues in the same form that saw him finish second at the Players Championship last week.
Walker is playing with journeyman Eric Axley and Kevin Na in the third round and should be a solid favourite to outscore those playing partners and enhance his title aspirations at the same time.
Leaderboard: -15 M Leishman, -14 A Wise, -13 B Gay, -11 J Walker, E Axley, K Na, -10 M Piller, A Scott, M Jones, K Tway, B Taylor. Selected others: -8 B Grace, -7 J Spieth, P
