Three things to watch out for in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on Sunday.

Best bet

Elaine Thompson-Herah to win women's 200m
1pt 7-4 BoyleSports

Anyone who liked the look of Thompson-Herah to take gold in the women's 200m will have been encouraged by her record-breaking performance in the 100m final. She took gold in this event five years ago in Brazil and still represents value at 7-4.

Men's pommel horse

Sunday, 10.30am

Max Whitlock is the reigning world champion on pommel horse and is 3-1 to take gold in Sunday's final.

He posted 14.900 in qualifying to progress to the final in fifth and there is room for improvement for the five-time Olympic medallist.

Whitlock will be particularly wary of Ireland's Rhys McClenaghan, who is 5-2 to win after he became his nation's first gymnast to reach an Olympic final with his score of 15.266, taking second-placed finish in qualifying.

He took world bronze in the same event in 2019 while Whitlock was champion on both pommel horse and the men's floor at Rio five years ago.

Men's high jump

Sunday, 11.10am

Qatar do not have an Olympic title to their name but bookmakers expect Mutaz Barshim to break their duck, making him the 15-8 favourite to win the men's high jump.

Barshim cleared 2.28m in qualifying to top Group A and make the finals with 4-1 shot Mikhail Akimenko of Belarus considered his closest competition.

The athlete from Qatar was the first man ever to defend the high jump world title and took silver in Rio.

He is widely considered the greatest high-jumper of the last decade and will be hoping to make history on Sunday.

Women's 200m

Starts Monday 2.30am

Dina Asher-Smith is out to 66-1 with Hills to win BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2021, having been 9-2 on Saturday morning, after she failed to make the women's 100m final and she has subsequently withdrawn from the 200m.

The British world champion tore her hamstring last month and has decided to pull out of the event, which starts in the early hours of Monday morning.

Thompson-Herah became the second fastest woman in history with her electrifying run in the 100m on Saturday, clocking 10.61 seconds to take gold, and she has been cut to 7-4 with BoyleSports for the 200m title.

She won the event at Rio 2016 and it is hard to look past the Jamaican claiming the fourth Olympic gold medal of her career.
