Best Premier League bet
Bournemouth v Leicester 3pm Saturday
Leicester claimed a long-awaited first Premier League win of the season in style on Monday night, beating Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest 4-0, and the Foxes can follow up against another promoted club on Saturday.
Their hosts Bournemouth have put together a solid run of results under interim coach Gary O'Neil, drawing with Wolves, Newcastle and Brentford and coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Forest on September 3.
However, the Cherries have had to work hard during their four-match unbeaten run and their defence may struggle to contain a Leicester side featuring talented attacking midfielders James Maddison and Harvey Barnes.
Wolves had 17 shots to Bournemouth's five in their goalless draw at the Vitality Stadium while Newcastle hit the woodwork twice and Brentford restricted the Cherries to one attempt on target last time out.
Leicester have lost all four of their away league matches – 4-2 at Arsenal, 2-1 at Chelsea, 5-2 at Brighton and 6-2 at Tottenham – but those teams are all in the top five of the table and their defence should find things easier against Bournemouth.
Scoring goals has not been a problem for Brendan Rodgers' side, who were 3-0 up inside 35 minutes against Forest and can kick on from that success with another win on the south coast.
Best EFL bet
West Brom v Luton 3pm Saturday
Luton travel to West Brom in the Championship this weekend and the Hatters must still be wondering how they failed to beat Huddersfield at home on Tuesday night.
Nathan Jones's side had 24 shots to their visitors' three yet had to settle for a 3-3 draw and another entertaining contest is expected at The Hawthorns.
Jones led Luton to a surprise sixth-place finish last season and they have hit their stride after a slow start to the 2022-23 campaign, scoring at least twice in six of their last eight games.
Both teams have found the net in five of their last seven and that trend should continue at West Brom. The troubled Baggies lost 1-0 at Preston on Wednesday but their last four home matches were 3-2 defeats to Swansea and Birmingham, a 1-1 draw with Burnley, and a 5-2 victory over Hull.
Best European bet
Sevilla v Athletic Bilbao LaLigaTV, 5.30pm Saturday
Sevilla's only home defeat in La Liga last season was a 3-2 loss to champions Real Madrid but the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium has been far less intimidating for visiting teams this term.
The Andalusians needed an 86th-minute goal to avoid defeat against promoted Valladolid before losing 3-0 to Barcelona, 4-0 to Manchester City in the Champions League, 2-0 to Atletico Madrid last weekend and 4-1 to Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday – a result that prompted the sacking of coach Julen Lopetegui.
Their first seven league fixtures also included away defeats at Osasuna and struggling Almeria, and things are unlikely to improve when they take on Athletic Bilbao this weekend.
Only Barcelona and Real have earned more points from their first seven matches than Athletic's 16 and they have beaten Elche 4-1, Rayo Vallecano 3-2 and Almeria 4-0 in their last three outings, scoring nine first-half goals in the process.
They thumped Cadiz 4-0 away from home at the end of August and have plenty of in-form attacking threats with brothers Inaki and Nico Williams, Alex Berenguer and Oihan Sancet top of the club's scoring charts with three league goals apiece.

Monza
The Serie A newcomers have found their feet, beating Juventus 1-0 and winning 3-0 at Sampdoria in their last two games, and they can see off visitors Spezia, who have lost all four of their away matches to nil this season.
Blowout
Inter
The Nerazzurri, who rode their luck in Tuesday's 1-0 Champions League win over Barcelona, have lost four of their last six Serie A matches while hosts Sassuolo have kept four clean sheets in their last five.
