Bruce Millington and Steve Palmer are back for a special editon of the Sweet Spot, the Racing Post's weekly golf tipping show in association with BoyleSports, to preview the 150th Open Championship.

The Open returns to St Andrews for the first time since Zach Johnson claimed the Claret Jug in 2015 and Steve has four picks to follow at the Old Course this week including three former Open champions.

As well as identifying the Open winner, Bruce and Steve discuss the prospect of a low-scoring week at the Old Course and Steve is on hand to offer his best bets from the special markets.

While all eyes will be on St Andrews, there is also action from across the pond at the Barracuda Championship - another co-sanctioned DP World Tour and European Tour event - taking place at Old Greenwood in California.

Steve has three to follow in the US including a young European who has been threatening a PGA Tour breakthrough.
