The rising star of Australian golf earned an Open debut with eighth place in the Singapore Open. Lost his clubs on route to Britain last week, lambasting British Airways on Twitter, so preparation has been far from perfect.

Charley Hoffman
The Californian has a poor Open record of 35-MC-MC-67-MC-77-20, but arriving early to play in the Scottish Open should help. In decent nick and probably hitting his ball well enough to threaten a top-20 finish.
