Day one
Sky Sports Golf, 9am Thursday

The glamour grouping of Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Thorbjorn Olesen tees off at 9.05am UK and Ireland time in the first round of the Turkish Airlines Open at the Regnum Carya Resort.

The Ryder Cup colleagues will command the biggest gallery at the European Tour Final Series starts in sunny Antalya, but the best threeballs wager may be in the 9.30am contest.

Marcus Kinhult, a tidy, improving young Swede who has been putting well, finished fourth in the Portugal Masters at the end of September. The Open Championship was the last time Kinhult failed to card an opening round of par or better – a streak of seven tournaments – and it would be a surprise should the run end in Turkey.

Kinhult can be fancied to outscore wild Spaniard Alvaro Quiros and Paul Waring, who has been badly struggling for form and fitness since his Nordea Masters success in the middle of August.

Recommendation
M Kinhult
2pts 13-10 general
