Lawler can retain title

The welterweight title showdown between champion Robbie Lawler and challenger Tyron Woodley headlines UFC 201 at Atlanta’s Philips Arena and it promises to be entertaining – four of Lawler’s last six contests have been named fight of the night and two have been fight of the year.
Lawler is 8-11 to retain the belt and he has been on a tear-up of late, winning five in a row and successfully defending defending the title twice since taking it from Johnny Hendricks in December 2014. He deserves to be favourite, although Woodley could ask serious questions of him.
Woodley has won four of his last five, with the one defeat coming against Rory McDonald who Lawler beat by TKO last year.
