Today's best accumulator bets
Bets to be placed by 3pm
Plymouth to beat Burton
Ipswich to beat Shrewsbury
Wycombe to beat Gillingham
Harrogate to beat Scunthorpe
Plymouth are one of four League One teams defending an unbeaten home record and should have the beating of Burton, while Ipswich can outclass struggling Shrewsbury, who remain winless on the road.
Gillingham have posted just two league wins this season and may be out of their depth at Wycombe, while Harrogate can maintain their League Two promotion push at the expense of rock-bottom Scunthorpe, who have lost three on the spin.

Scotland v Israel
Sky Sports Premier League, 5pm
Scotland revived their World Cup qualification hopes with September's hard-fought 1-0 wins over Moldova and Austria and they can cement second place in Group F with another narrow victory over nearest challengers Israel.

Best bet
Scotland to win & under 2.5 goals
Azerbaijan v Ireland
Sky Sports Football, 5pm
Azerbaijan have failed to score only two of their last eight internationals while both teams have notched in four of Ireland’s five qualifiers. It was also 1-1 when these teams clashed in Dublin, so goals may be the way to go in this dead-rubber in Baku.

Best bet
Both teams to score
Andorra v England
ITV, 7.45pm
A sizeable away win is on the cards and there are solid grounds for backing England to net four or more goals at a shade of odds-on. The Three Lions have scored at least four goals in their last two matches against Andorra and should repeat the trick.

Best bet
Over 3.5 England goals
Switzerland v Northern Ireland
Sky Sports Football, 7.45pm
Switzerland's Xherdan Shaqiri makes appeal to open the scoring against a depleted Northern Irish unit. He bagged three for the Swiss in the Euros and will orchestrate set-pieces which will make him invaluable in a game where chances are going to be at a premium.

Best bet
Xherdan Shaqiri to score first
Bet of the day
Ipswich to beat Shrewsbury 3pm
Ipswich have made a slow start to the League One campaign but are hugely ambitious and the improving Tractor Boys should have too much firepower for Shrewsbury, who look destined for a fifth loss in six away league games.

Goalscorer bet of the day
Ipswich v Shrewsbury 3pm
QPR loanee Macauley Bonne has netted seven goals in his last six appearances for Ipswich and could be the man to punish a Shrewsbury side that have collected just one point in five away league games. At 7-4 with bet365, he looks overpriced to add to his tally.
Best bet
Macauley Bonne to score at any time
Stat of the day
Scotland v Israel
There have been just five goals scored across the last four meetings between Scotland and Israel.
