Chelsea women have landed a tough Champions League group-stage draw, as was the case last season, but they can get off to an excellent start by avoiding defeat against Paris St-Germain in the French capital.

The Blues extended their Women's Super League winning sequence to three matches with a 3-1 success away to Everton on Sunday, drawing them level on points with leaders Manchester United and second-placed Arsenal.

Facing PSG is a step up in class but it should be an evenly-matched affair between teams with aspirations of winning the competition.

Chelsea were knocked out at the group stage last term despite amassing 11 points, but they were beaten finalists the previous season, losing out 4-0 to Barcelona.

The Londoners will expect a stern challenge from PSG, who were semi-finalists in last season's competition, but a competitive match is on the cards and there may be value in siding with the WSL side to avoid defeat.
