Marseille have dropped just two points from their six Ligue 1 games since Christmas but clean sheets at the Stade Velodrome have been hard to come by, which gives visitors Nice some hope on their trip along the coast.

OM got back to winning ways at Nantes in midweek after a Jordan Veretout own goal had denied them a home victory over Monaco last Saturday and they are second in the table, five points behind Paris St-Germain.

Former Arsenal and Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has scored in three of his last four league and cup home games and Marseille have won seven out of 11 league matches on their own patch this term.

However, just two clean sheets have been kept in those 11 home outings, which should give Nice plenty of encouragement.

They have dropped just two points in their last four matches and their only defeat since October 1 came at Rennes, who have won their last ten home matches.

Nice's last two wins were both by a 1-0 margin but both teams to score looks a tasty price in what could be an entertaining encounter.

At the other end of the table, Auxerre are having a miserable time as their 3-2 midweek loss to Monaco was their seventh straight league defeat.

They have won just once since August 27 and that does not bode well for their home game against Reims, who are unbeaten in 13, drew at PSG in their last away game and look well equipped to build on Wednesday's 4-2 win over Lorient.

The best bet of the day in Spain looks to be Girona to win at home to Valencia. A 1-0 defeat to Barcelona last weekend ended Girona's five-match unbeaten home run but they can get back on track against Los Che, who have won just one of their last 11 La Liga matches and lost their last three on the road.
