Preview

There's an all-Premiership clash in the Scottish Cup fourth round on Saturday when Aberdeen host Livingston and the Dons look value to edge out their rivals.

It's been a fairly disappointing campaign for Aberdeen and it has been no surprise to hear the discontent voiced by their supporters throughout the season. The Dons have managed only 33 goals in 34 top-flight matches this season, but they still sit fourth and have been beaten only four times at Pittodrie.

That poor showing in front of goal ended up costing Derek McInnes his job, but there is no doubt that the Dons are a better side than their record suggests.

The green shoots were evident when Aberdeen played well to beat a good St Johnstone side 1-0 at McDiarmid Park last weekend and new boss Stephen Glass is now clear of quarantine.

David Martindale has done a top job at Livingston, but it has been a gruelling season and his side have won just one of their last ten matches.

Livin were hammered 6-0 at Celtic last week and that's unlikely to have done much for their confidence either.

Aberdeen still have time to achieve something positive this season and they look value 13-10 shots to move a step closer to Scottish Cup glory this weekend.
