Premier League predictions for this weekends games: Brighton v Tottenham, Norwich City v Aston Villa, Watford v Sheffield United, Burnley v Everton, Liverpool v Leicester City, West Ham United v Crystal Palace, Southampton v Chelsea, Manchester City v Wolves & Newcastle United v Manchester United.

Brighton v Tottenham

The Graham Potter transformation is no longer yielding points for Brighton, who are winless in their last five games in all competitions, and Tottenham can recover from their 7-2 demolition to register a narrow win.

Norwich City v Aston Villa

Norwich are contending with a string of injuries to first-team players but Teemu Pukki and company should still have too much for Aston Villa, who have not won any of their last four league matches.

Watford v Sheffield United

It has been a tough start to life for Quique Sanchez Flores on his return to Watford, whose wait for a league win this term could go on after a visit from a stubborn Blades side.

Burnley v Everton

Marco Silva is on thin ice at Goodison Park and - after only two wins from seven league games - Everton could stumble at Turf Moor, where both of Burnley's league wins have come in 2019-20.

Liverpool v Leicester City

Leicester are among the frontrunners looking to shake up the traditional big six but they may struggle to come through a testing Anfield examination unscathed. The Reds have not lost a home league game since April 2017.

West Ham United v Crystal Palace

West Ham's attacking philosophy has lifted them to fifth in the Premier League. After losing once in their opening seven league games, they can brush aside Palace, who have been mediocre on their travels.

Southampton v Chelsea

With Nathan Redmond back in the side, Southampton can notch against Chelsea, who got their Champions League campaign back on track with victory over Lille and have been getting a welcome supply of goals from Tammy Abraham.

Manchester City v Wolves

A Manchester City win and both teams to score is shaping up to be a popular bet while Aymeric Laporte and John Stones are injured for the champions and it could well be landed as they face a counter-attacking Wolves unit.

Arsenal v Bournemouth

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang cannot stop scoring and can steer Arsenal towards a third win in four home league games. Bournemouth lost all six of their visits to top-six opposition in 2018-19.

Newcastle United v Manchester United

Newcastle United have scored once and shipped eight goals in their last three games against Liverpool, Brighton and Leicester. Even the struggling Red Devils should put them to the sword.
