The 2020-21 Premier League season reaches a conclusion on Sunday and here is a guide to the prizes up for grabs on the final day.

Champions League qualification

Leicester missed out on the top four on the final day of last season and the FA Cup winners are in danger of suffering the same fate this term.

They started the week in third place but Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Chelsea and Liverpool's 3-0 win at Burnley on Wednesday means the Foxes are fifth going into Sunday's home game against Tottenham.

Chelsea, on 67 points, travel to Aston Villa and they will finish in the top four if they match either Leicester's result against Spurs or Liverpool's at home to Crystal Palace, who they beat 7-0 in December's reverse fixture.

The Reds and the Foxes are level on 66 points but Jurgen Klopp's men now have a goal difference of +24 compared with Leicester's +20 which could prove crucial.

If Chelsea draw and the other two win then Thomas Tuchel's men would drop to fifth. If they lose and the others draw then goal difference comes into play. The Blues are 1-7 to join the Manchester clubs in the top four with Liverpool 1-8 and Leicester 13-5.

Europa League qualification

The teams finishing fifth and sixth qualify for the Europa League group stage and Leicester and West Ham fill those spots going into the final day.

The Foxes cannot finish lower than fifth while the Hammers need a point at home to Southampton to guarantee Europa League football next season.

If they lose and Tottenham beat Leicester then Spurs would take sixth on goal difference. Everton could also reach 62 points with a win at Manchester City but their goal difference of +4 effectively rules them out of the reckoning.

Europa Conference League

As Manchester City and Leicester, the winners of the EFL Cup and FA Cup, will qualify for Europe through the league, the team finishing seventh earns a place in the inaugural Europa Conference League.

Introduced to benefit clubs from countries who are rarely represented in the Champions League and Europa League, the Conference League may be regarded as a dubious honour for Premier League teams.

The English contenders face a two-legged playoff before a group stage whose winners automatically qualify for the last 16. Matches are held on Thursdays and any Premier League club reaching the final in Tirana will have played at least 15 games in the competition.

Spurs start the final day in the coveted seventh spot but they are level on 59 points with Everton while Arsenal, who host Brighton, have 58. West Ham would be likely to end up in the Conference position if they lose and Tottenham win.

Any other business

Manchester City and Manchester United are champions and runners-up while Sheffield United will finish bottom and Fulham and West Brom are also relegated.

And punters who have backed teams to finish in the top or bottom half also know their fate given the four-point gap between tenth-placed Leeds and Aston Villa in 11th.

Leeds (9-4) and West Ham (11-4) obliged for ante-post top-half backers and 11-4 Wolves were the biggest-priced team to finish in the bottom ten.
