London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham may prove hard to split on Sunday
The Racing Post pundit also offers his favourite Diego Maradona memory
Sunday's Stamford Bridge showdown between Chelsea and Tottenham should be a great watch and the two London rivals could share the points.
Even when I was at Chelsea we knew what it meant to win this game against Spurs and the rivalry will have stepped up a notch now Jose Mourinho is in the visiting dugout given his previous connections with the club which can only add spice to the contest.
Tottenham are playing well enough at the moment to go to Chelsea and get something with Harry Kane in brilliant form. That connection between Heung-Min Son and Kane means Spurs can score at the Bridge and avoid defeat against improving Chelsea.
Kane is the best number nine in the Premier League at the moment and also the best number ten with his goals and assists. With the amount of blocks and tackles he is putting in you could say he is also the best left-back and holding midfielder! He has been outstanding.
The England skipper is so clever with a great touch and he protects the ball so well. The way he has come back is amazing - I thought he looked a bit leggy at times but now his level of performance means Spurs go to the Bridge top of the Premier League.
I still don't see them winning, however, as Chelsea look well balanced. Individually and collectively Tammy Abraham has been a big player for Chelsea in recent weeks and his combination with Timo Werner off the left will trouble Tottenham.
The battle between Hakim Ziyech and Sergio Reguilon is one I am looking forward to immensely. Ziyech can provide something special but he will need to be at his best against Reguilon, who was superb against Manchester City last week.
Reguilon is possibly the first defender I have seen who has been able to master playing with his hands behind his back and the way he remained balanced to stop Riyad Mahrez was something that really caught the eye last week.
My best Diego Maradona memory
There are equal firsts when it comes to the best footballers of all time and Diego Maradona deserves his spot alongside Lionel Messi at the top table.
For longevity I would probably just edge towards Messi and he was able to stay away from controversy but at his peak Maradona was the equal. They were at exactly the same level.
The goal Maradona scored against England - not the handball obviously - could be the greatest ever when put into context of its importance. It was a World Cup quarter-final with plenty of emotion riding on the result.
My former Chelsea manager Glenn Hoddle tells a great story about the game having been on the losing side with England.
He says the weather in Mexico was roasting. And not only was it roasting but it was humid. And not only was it roasting and humid but it was the longest grass he had ever played on. And not only was it roasting, humid and the longest grass he had ever played on but it was also bumpy.
Glenn says only Maradona could have scored a goal like that in conditions like that.
