Best Premier League bet

Everton v West Ham
Sky Sports Premier League, 2pm Sunday

Everton's 1-1 draw at Manchester United before the international break left them in fifth place in the Premier League but the Toffees may struggle to maintain that status.

Three of their first four league wins under Rafa Benitez have come against bottom-four teams Southampton, Burnley and Norwich and they face a higher calibre of opponent on Sunday.

West Ham conceded an injury-time goal to lose 2-1 at home to Brentford in their last league game but that came at the end of a hectic spell of fixtures in the league, EFL Cup and Europa League.

The Hammers' only defeat in nine matches in all competitions before their clash with the Bees was a 2-1 loss to Manchester United in which Mark Noble missed a late penalty.

Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison, Seamus Coleman, Alex Iwobi and Andre Gomes are doubts and France left-back Lucas Digne is out but West Ham bolstered their squad well over the summer and David Moyes's men, who average two goals per game in the league, are a tempting price to silence Goodison Park.

Best EFL bet

Exeter v Newport County 3pm Saturday

Michael Flynn, the manager who led Newport County to the League Two playoff final last season, left the club on October 1 but the Exiles have responded well to his departure.

They beat struggling Scunthorpe 3-0 the following day and could easily have taken maximum points from last weekend's goalless draw with Bradford in which James Clarke's header came back off the bar.

Newport's caretaker manager Wayne Hatswell hailed his side's display in the stalemate with the Bantams as their best performance of the season and they are a solid draw-no-bet selection away to Exeter on Saturday.

The Grecians have lost only once in 11 league games this term but seven of those matches have ended in draws.

Three of those draws came in their last three fixtures against Hartlepool and bottom-half teams Walsall and Stevenage so they may struggle to break down a Newport side who have won 1-0 at fifth-placed Tranmere and drawn at second-placed Harrogate this season.

Best European bet

Milan v Verona BT Sport 1, 7.45pm Saturday

Milan flew out of the traps in Serie A last season and they have made another fast start this term, making it six wins out of seven with a 3-2 victory at Atalanta before the international break.

The Rossoneri have scored first in all six of those wins as well as in their Champions League draw with Atletico Madrid in which Portuguese youngster Rafael Leao gave them a 20th-minute lead.

Leao looks a good bet to open the scoring in Saturday's home fixture against Venezia, having notched in Milan's San Siro victories over Cagliari and Lazio this term.

The 22-year-old winger claimed his side's third goal in the win at Atalanta before making his international debut in Portugal's friendly against Qatar.

Coming on as a half-time substitute for Cristiano Ronaldo, Leao hit the woodwork twice and set up a goal for Andre Silva so he should be full of confidence for the clash with Verona, who have conceded 14 goals in seven Serie A matches this season.

Weekend accumulators

Banker
Brighton
Norwich finally got a point on the board thanks to a 0-0 draw at Burnley last time out but they had only two shots on target at Turf Moor and in-form Brighton should create plenty of chances at Carrow Road.

Blowout
Millwall
The Lions are unbeaten in seven games in the Championship but have scored only seven goals during that run while visitors Luton have notched in all five away matches and thumped Coventry 5-0 last month.

Accumulator
Brighton 11-10, Milan 8-15, Atalanta 4-7, Napoli 2-5. £1 accumulator returns £7.11 with BoyleSports.

Both teams to score
Games at Leicester 7-10, Blackburn 8-11, Lincoln 4-5. £1 treble returns £5.29 with Hills.
