Take Nacional to nick the point they need in Copa Libertadores clash

There's a big temptation to bet Nacional in La Plata in a massive match in Group F of the Copa Libertadores.

Struggling hosts Estudiantes need to win by at least two goals to pip their Uruguayan rivals for second spot and sneak into the last 16.

The Argentinian outfit are in terrible form whereas Nacional are flying having just won the apertura. They are unbeaten in 14 in all competitions, a sequence studded with eight clean sheets.

However, this is the Copa, where home advantage counts for plenty. Over 47 per cent of matches in the group stage have been won by the home side and just one of the ten matches played in Group F has produced an away win. That was when leaders Santos won 1-0 at Estudiantes when the Students had to play in Quilmes rather than on their own turf.

The bet looks to be Nacional +0.25 on the Asian handicap at 11-8 with bet365. Backers win half their stake with a draw and the stalemate looks a big runner.

That, after all, is the result Nacional are after and these two sides drew 0-0 in Montevideo in February.

And Estudiantes, under caretaker boss Leandro Benitez, have no firepower. They have failed to score in four of their five matches in the tournament this season, have won just one of their last 11, and top goalscorer Juan Otero is out injured.
