Reborn Brechin can get the better of struggling Stranraer
3pm Saturday
Brechin broke a 126-year record last season when they managed to go through the entire campaign without a league win, but they're on the right track now and can beat Stranraer.
The Angus side have hardly hit the heights this season either, but a decent January transfer window under the relatively new management team of Barry Smith and Stevie Campbell has started to pay dividends.
City have won three out of their last four games beating Dumbarton, Raith Rovers and Airdrie, with new signings Scott Robertson and Ross Kavanagh impressing.
In contrast, the Stair Park side have lost six out of their last seven games with only a surprise draw at runaway Ladbrokes League One leaders Arbroath stopping the rot.
Ladbrokes League Two standings
Brechin can put some daylight between themselves and the rest of the relegation strugglers by getting a win at Glebe Park.
Partick are on a great run and will fancy their chances against a tired Ross County side in Glasgow.
The Dingwall men are odds-on favourites to win the Ladbrokes Championship, but they have been inconsistent in the league recently, particularly on the road.
County were bundled out of the William Hill Scottish Cup on Tuesday after a exhausting Highland derby penalties defeat at Inverness and they have also recently lost at Morton and at Queen of the South.
Thistle have won five in a row and a late push for an unlikely playoff spot does not look to be beyond them.
Manager Gary Caldwell persuaded his old Celtic teammate Scott McDonald to come out of retirement and the former Australia striker responded by netting on his Jags debut last week at Alloa. It could be an inspired signing.
Queen's Park can take advantage of injury-hit Clyde and get the win at Hampden Park.
The Spiders have recently improved after a miserable spell in mid-season and were unlucky at Peterhead last week, having thrashed Berwick 7-1 at home and claimed a decent point at Stirling.
Clyde have given themselves real hope of closing down the leaders in Ladbrokes League Two, but they have injury worries with David Goodwillie and captain Kevin Nicoll both out and they have ridden their luck recently with narrow wins.
Queen's have no pressure on them and would love to derail the Bully Wee's promotion bid at a big price.
