Wolves
Raul Jimenez and Jonny Castro will definitely miss out for Nuno Espirito Santo's hosts.
Aston Villa
Bjorn Engels is fit. Tom Heaton, Ross Barkley and Wesley are still out. Keinan Davis is a doubt.
Match preview
Wolves went into the weekend as the lowest scorers in the top half of the Premier League and that has to encourage Aston Villa and their backers Molineux on Saturday lunchtime.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side have scored 11 goals in as many games this season and their prospects don't look any brighter with four-goal top scorer Raul Jimenez missing from the attack.
In short, Nuno is bereft of an out-and-out striker unless he takes a punt on teenager Fabio Silva and it could quickly turn into a worrying few weeks for the Old Gold until the transfer window opens.
Villa, just two points behind Wolves in the table but with two games in hand, look a far sharper proposition going forward.
Dean Smith's men are averaging 16 shots per game, which compares favourably to Wolves' 11.9, and that added firepower and intent could well sway matters in this derby showdown.
After a flying start in which Villa won their first four games they have been brought back to earth with just one win in five.
They were a little unlucky to come away from West Ham with nothing on their last outing 13 days ago. But they travel well. They've played four road games this season and won three of them at Fulham and, more impressively, both Leicester and Arsenal.
Ollie Watkins has bagged six goals since stepping up from Brentford while Jack Grealish has weighed in with five.
This looks like a good time to be taking on Wolves and Villa look to be worth an investment.
Key stat
Seven of Villa's last eight league games have produced three goals or more.
