Team news

West Ham
New signing Danny Ings could feature but Maxwel Cornet is injured and defender Craig Dawson, linked with a move away from the club, is unlikely to feature.

Everton
Nathan Patterson, James Garner, Michael Keane and Andros Townsend remain sidelined for the Toffees.

Match preview

Everton manager Frank Lampard will not be expecting a warm welcome from West Ham supporters but his Hammers counterpart David Moyes could also be in for a cool reception at the London Stadium.

The market on the next Premier League manager to leave his job suggests it is a match bet between Moyes and Lampard and a draw would probably do little good for either man's employment prospects.

There is more pressure on odds-on hosts West Ham to take the initiative and, despite these teams' lowly league positions and poor form, there will be attacking quality on show.

West Ham, with Brazil international Lucas Paqueta in midfield and attacking options including new signing Danny Ings, Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio, Pablo Fornals, Manuel Lanzini and Gianluca Scamacca, have to be positive.

And Everton, who have key striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin fit again, scored in each of their last four league and cup defeats as well as a 1-1 draw at Manchester City on New Year's Eve so over 2.5 goals is worth a bet.

Key stat

Six of Everton's last seven games in all competitions featured over 2.5 goals.
