Chelsea v Aston Villa

Team news

Chelsea
Tammy Abraham (hip) is a doubt and Ross Barkley (illness) misses out.

Aston Villa
Frederic Guilbert serves a one-match suspension and Anwar El-Ghazi (knee) is out but Jota (hernia) could feature.

Verdict

Aston Villa have shown no fear when going to the biggest stadiums in the Premier League and they look overpriced to avoid defeat at Stamford Bridge.

November was a busy month for Chelsea and the strain was starting to show when they lost 1-0 at home to West Ham on Saturday.

They were unconvincing last Thursday when drawing 2-2 away to injury-hit Valencia and can take nothing for granted against the Villans, who will be looking to add to the well-deserved point they picked up at Old Trafford.

Key stat

Chelsea have kept only one clean sheet in their last eight games.

Leicester v Watford

Team news

Leicester
Demerai Gray (flu) is a doubt and Kelechi Iheanacho is pushing for a start after an assist and a goal against Everton.

Watford
Craig Dawson, Christian Kabasele, Daryl Janmaat, Sebastian Prodl, Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck remain sidelined.

Verdict

Leicester and Watford spent most of last season competing for a top-seven finish but they have gone in different directions in 2019-20 and the Foxes are long odds-on to widen the 24-point gap between the teams.

At the prices the Foxes, who were below their best against Everton and have had less time to prepare, look too short.

Watford have some decent attacking players and may approach the game more positively under caretaker-manager Hayden Mullins but their dodgy defence may let them down.

Key stat

Leicester have won their last six home games.

Southampton v Norwich

Team news

Southampton
Sofiane Boufal (toe) is a doubt and Stuart Armstrong (hamstring) is out but Jannik Vestergaard (illness) returns to contention.

Norwich
Alex Tettey (personal reasons) returns to contention but Grant Hanley (groin) and Josip Drmic (thigh) are out.

Verdict

Norwich put a great deal of effort into their 2-2 home draw with Arsenal on Sunday but it won't count for much if they lose to relegation rivals Southampton at St Mary's.

The Saints have had more time to rest and that could be crucial in a contest between two well-matched teams.

Southampton deserve to be favourites but look short enough at odds-on. There is better value to be had by siding with Saints' star striker Danny Ings to score the opening goal.

Key stat

Danny Ings has scored eight goals in his last nine appearances.

Wolves v West Ham

Team news

Wolves
Romain Saiss is available after suspension but Wily Boly (broken leg) is out and Ryan Bennett (groin) is a doubt.

West Ham
Issa Diop is available after a ban but Michail Antonio (muscle strain) is a doubt and Lukasz Fabianski, Jack Wilshere and Manuel Lanzini remain sidelined.

Verdict

West Ham served up a much-improved performance to win 1-0 at Chelsea on Saturday and they look overpriced to pick up another three points at Molineux.

After 14 games the general perception is that Wolves are doing extremely well and West Ham are struggling, but the Hammers are only four points worse off.

Manuel Pellegrini's side will have gained confidence from their victory at Stamford Bridge and they have an easier task against Wolves, who may suffer from playing their third game in a week.

Key stat

Wolves have won only two of eight domestic home matches this season.
