Match preview
Since securing their Premier League status for another season, Newcastle United's matches have been seeing more goals and a high-scoring affair could be on the cards at Vicarage Road.
Steve Bruce's men built their survival bid around a solid defence this season but they seem to have played more expansive football of late and that has shown in the scorelines.
Both teams have scored in three of their last five matches and their previous trio of fixtures have featured 14 goals - they beat Bournemouth 4-1, drew 2-2 with West Ham and were hammered 5-0 by Manchester City last time out.
Midfield maestro Miguel Almiron has started adding goals to his repertoire, much like in his MLS days at Atlanta United, while Dwight Gayle is starting to impress at the top of the tree.
They seem to be approaching their remaining matches as free hits and that mentality could result in a cracker of a contest with Watford, who are fighting for survival.
Both teams have scored in each of Watford's previous three league games at home and that could be the best betting strategy for the game in Hertfordshire.
Danny Welbeck has added another dimension to the Hornets' attack and he netted last time out. With their Premier League survival still on the line, Watford can be expected to adopt a top-heavy approach.
Key stat
Both teams have scored in three of the last five meetings between these sides.
