Southampton edged out Tottenham in a five-goal thriller in north London last term, but Antonio Conte’s crew should hit the ground running against the Saints this season.

Shortly after February’s defeat at home to Southampton, Spurs sparked into life as they rattled off ten wins from their final 14 games to snatch fourth place from rivals Arsenal.

And, after being boosted by a slew of summer signings, Tottenham look ready to go from strength to strength and Conte will be demanding they send out an early signal of intent.
