Team news
Tottenham
Juan Foyth and Japhet Tanganga remain sidelined through injury. Dele Alli, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Harry Winks are pushing for recalls.
Everton
Djibril Sidibe looks to have recovered from an ankle injury, while Richarlison should be fit to play despite a minor knock. The game comes too soon for Fabian Delph and Theo Walcott.
Match preview
Everton are hoping to climb into the Premier League's top ten by beating Tottenham for the first time in eight years on Monday night.
Carlo Ancelotti's side still harbour hopes of qualifying for Europe this season, and they would put pressure on the teams around them with a win.
The Toffees have lost only four of their last 15 games in all competitions, and they extended their unbeaten run to three matches when beating Leicester 2-1 on Wednesday.
Since securing a goalless draw with Liverpool in their first game back, Everton have beaten Norwich and the Foxes, and they look to have the ability to mount a serious charge for the top seven.
Spurs can also still qualify for the Europa League, but Jose Mourinho's outfit have struggled to string results together since February.
Tottenham endured a seven-match winless run earlier this year which ended their Champions League and FA Cup campaigns.
RB Leipzig and Norwich knocked them out of those competitions, and Mourinho's troops are going into the Everton game after a bitterly disappointing 3-1 defeat to Sheffield United.
It is now just one win in nine for Tottenham, with their only success coming against West Ham in June. However, they can take inspiration from their record on home soil.
Spurs have lost only four of their last 17 games at their new home, and they will be looking to talisman Harry Kane to get them out of trouble.
The England captain appears to be back to his old self, scoring in successive games after a rusty return from injury.
While the competition for places in the Spurs midfield is rife, Kane knows he is the undisputed main man in the forward department.
After recovering from his ankle injury, he will now set his sights on the Golden Boot award. Kane has 13 in 23 appearances this season, and still harbours hopes of catching Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Jamie Vardy.
Kane also loves playing against the Toffees. While he has not found the net in their last two meetings, Kane netted eight goals in his previous six appearances against Everton.
Key stat
Everton are winless in their last 14 Premier League games against Tottenham.
