Brighton battered Tottenham 3-0 in October but Spurs can put in a much stronger show in the return fixture.

Tottenham are reeling from a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday, however, it is nothing like the feeling when they visited the Amex following a 7-2 humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich.

Spurs were well beaten by Chelsea and clearly need to find a solution to their midfield woes, something which could be helped by the probable return to the starting 11 of Tanguy Ndombele.

Jose Mourinho has already led the club to wins over West Ham, Bournemouth, Burnley and Wolves in the Premier League and even without Heung-Min Son there should be enough firepower to land the spoils.

Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura will spearhead the forward assault and for all of Brighton's enterprising football under Graham Potter they are on a run of one victory in seven games.

They did not offer much in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to Sheffield United and have lost all four of their away matches at teams in the top eight.

Only Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Leicester have had more possession than Brighton, so their ability to pop passes around could make life tricky at times for Mourinho's outfit.

Tottenham have also kept just two Premier League clean sheets this season and if Spurs are to win they could once again need their big guns to fire in the final third.
