Toothless Toon set for a tight game with Watford
Newcastle struggling for goals
Premier League
3pm Saturday
Newcastle’s struggles in front of goal are damaging their survival chances and their blunt frontline could contribute to a low-scoring affair when they host Watford.
The Magpies’ stuttering start to the campaign has been put down to a tough run of fixtures, but they have scored just six times this season and offered little in the final third in last weekend’s drab 0-0 draw at Southampton.
Watford have kept clean sheets in successive wins over Wolves and Huddersfield, but Newcastle are well organised and defences should come to the fore.
Recommendation
Under 2.5 goals
2pts 4-6 general
