Relegated Sunderland landed a shock win at odds of 7-1 at Hull to put a serious dent in the Tigers’ hopes of maintaining their Premier League status.

The defeat – combined with Swansea’s 1-0 success over Everton – saw Hull fall into the bottom three and cut to 1-6 to be relegated, while the Welsh club drifted to 4-1 after moving up to 17th.

Fernando Llorente was the hero for Swansea, who are away to Sunderland on Saturday before hosting West Brom and Saturday's results could be pivotal.

Hull, who had been shorter than 1-2 across the board for a vital victory, fell behind to a Billy Jones goal and England forward Jermain Defoe doubled Sunderland’s advantage late on.

Marco Silva’s men head to Crystal Palace next before finishing their campaign at home to a Tottenham side still reeling from Friday’s 1-0 loss to London rivals West Ham.

Palace must quickly pick themselves up from a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City, a win which moved Pep Guardiola’s men up to third.

David Silva broke the deadlock early on and further efforts from Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Otamendi seriously boosted City’s goal difference.

Palace, who end their season at Manchester United, are 20-1 to
be relegated with Middlesbrough no offers. Boro head to Chelsea tomorrow and Liverpool on the final day with a home date with Southampton in between.

Leicester were easy 3-0 winners over Watford with Onyinye Ndidi, Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton scoring for the champions.

Bournemouth twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at home to Stoke, while West Brom drew 2-2 at Burnley.

Sky Bet – Premier League relegation (Sunderland already relegated, two places left): No offers Middlesbrough, 1-6 Hull, 4 Swansea, 20 Crystal Palace.
