Arsenal v Bournemouth

Team news

Arsenal

Alexandre Lacazette remains sidelined with an ankle injury and Granit Xhaka is a booking away from a one-match suspension.

Bournemouth

Defender Chris Mepham joins Adam Smith, Dan Gosling, David Brooks and Charlie Daniels on the sidelines.

Verdict

Arsenal are easier to trust with home advantage and they should have too much firepower for Bournemouth, who lost all six of their away league games against big-six sides last season including a 5-1 hiding at the Emirates.

Much like Arsenal, Eddie Howe’s Cherries are let down by their defensive frailties and they have leaked 12 goals in seven league games, shipping three in defeats to Leicester and Manchester City.

But the visitors have scored in each league assignment this term and they can keep the trend going against the Gunners, who have conceded in all three of their home contests, against Burnley, Tottenham and Aston Villa.

Key stat

Bournemouth have failed to score in only one of their last six Premier League meetings with Arsenal.

Manchester City v Wolves

Team news

Manchester City

Kevin De Bruyne is set to miss out with a groin injury. John Stones remains sidelined with a thigh problem.

Wolves

Diogo Jota is unavailable, otherwise Nuno has a fully-fit squad to choose from.

Verdict

Wolves are struggling to cope with the demands of the Europa League and Thursday's hard-fought 1-0 win in Besiktas isn't the ideal preparation for a trip to free-flowing champions Manchester City.

The visitors have played five Premier League matches following a midweek Europa League assignment and they are still searching for their first win having drawn on four occasions and lost once.

City should capitalise on Wolves' recent exertions and having led inside two minutes in home wins over Brighton (4-0) and Watford (8-0), another fast start looks likely.

Key stat

Manchester City have scored in the opening 25 minutes in six of their seven Premier League matches.
