There is little between Brighton and Bournemouth in the league standings and that may prove to be the case on the pitch when they meet at the Vitality Stadium.

The Cherries sit two points above their opponents and bookmakers have them at a shade of odds-on but Chris Hughton’s Seagulls are a dogged, determined outfit who are unlikely to roll over against their south coast rivals.

Bournemouth started the season well but their form has dipped spectacularly since the beginning of November. They have won just once in seven Premier League outings – against lowly Huddersfield – and are hard to trust at the prices.

Backing the stalemate could prove to be the value option.
