Ralph Hassenhuttl led Southampton to their first win since the opening day of September in only his second game in charge as the Saints stunned Arsenal last week and they could follow up against Huddersfield.

The Austrian was clearly thrilled with the victory against the Gunners and the performance will have given him plenty of reasons to be optimistic as the south coast club fight for survival – they won the shot-on-target count 7-4 with striker Danny Ings showing his class with a double.

The Terriers earned their only home win against troubled Fulham at the beginning of November but they have lost all four matches in December and are finding goals hard to come by.
