Match preview

If Arsenal are to have any chance of finishing in the top six of the Premier League, Sunday's match against Sheffield United looks like a must-win game with seven points between themselves and Tottenham.

The Gunners recorded an unconvincing 2-1 win when the teams met at the Emirates in October and they recorded a victory by the same score at Bramall Lane in last season’s FA Cup meeting thanks to a late winner from Dani Ceballos.

Nicolas Pepe and David McGoldrick scored in both of those fixtures and are best-priced 2-1 and 9-2 respectively to score at any time in this match.

The Blades have lost all three of their games under caretaker manager Paul Heckingbottom, but this will be their first home match since Chris Wilder’s departure.

The side rooted to bottom of the table have scored in five of their last seven home Premier League matches and backing both teams to score looks the best option for this clash.

Arsenal have not kept a clean sheet since their goalless draw with Manchester United in January, a run of 14 games that includes conceding twice against Wolves, Leeds and Benfica and three in each of their last two Premier League games against West Ham and Liverpool.

The Blades have conceded nine times in their last three games against Leicester, Chelsea in their FA Cup quarter-final, and Leeds.

They have kept only one clean sheet in their last eight games. That was a 1-0 home win over Aston Villa, but they were beaten in all of the other seven matches.

Key stat

Both sides have scored in the last three head-to-head meetings.
