Shaky Everton could drop more points at Burnley

A run of five games without a win has dented Everton’s top-six aspirations and they could fall further off the pace by dropping points at Burnley.

Marco Silva’s men were readily brushed aside 6-2 at home to Tottenham on Saturday, which took their tally to 11 goals conceded in just three games.

Burnley have shown significant improvement in recent defeats to Tottenham (1-0) and Arsenal (3-1) and their direct approach should cause plenty of problems for the confidence-dented Toffees, who have picked up just six points from their eight away matches.
