Preview

Arsenal’s top-four ambitions are largely built on strong performances at the Emirates - only Liverpool and Manchester City have taken more points at home - and they need to repeat the trick when Brighton visit.

Their two young starlets Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe have pulled their attacking weight this season in the absence of an out-and-out goalscoring number nine.

Both have nine league goals already this campaign, which is particularly impressive from Smith Rowe, who has started just 17 games.

However he failed to impress against Crystal Palace on Monday and may be replaced in the starting line-up by Gabriel Martinelli.

Saka on the other hand seems destined to start and at 3-1 looks a big price to get on the scoresheet. The 20-year-old leads the team in both shots and shots on target.

In the same game Albert Lokonga is likely to replace the injured Thomas Partey in central midfield, as he did against Palace.

The youngster has picked up four yellow cards in his ten starts for the Gunners this season and making his first start since January could be over-exuberant in his efforts to replace Partey’s workrate.

Lokonga is 4-1 to pick up a card with Hills, twice the price other bookmakers are offering.

There have been very few positives for Watford this season but one of them has been Hassane Kamara, the left-back who signed for the Hornets in January.

Despite starting only 12 Premier League matches Kamara is already ranked second in the number of tackles for Roy Hodgson’s side with 50.

The all-action defender will face a tough assignment when he faces Leeds’s right winger Raphinha, however.

The Brazilian ranks third in the league for dribbles with 133 and given Kamara’s propensity for tackling, he could mistime one and odds of 9-2 could underestimate his chances of picking up a card.

With Armando Broja ineligible to play against his parent club, Adam Armstrong is likely to partner Che Adams up front for Southampton.

Armstrong averages 3.26 shots per 90 minutes, among the highest numbers in the Premier League. However his average distance of shot is 17.2 yards, indicating he often takes pot shots from range.

As a result, Armstrong is fancied for two or more shots from outside the area against Chelsea, who allowed 17 shots against Brentford last week.
