Preview

Wolves have been given little chance by the oddsmakers in their Premier League rumble against Manchester City, but Bruno Lage’s side have a decent recent against the champions.

The West Midlands club have won two of these sides' last four meetings, while the Citizens have also picked up more cards in three of those games.

City are the fourth least fouled team in the top flight, partly because teams sit so deep against them.

In total this year Wolves’ opponents have racked up 33 cards, while City’s have picked up just 23.

As a result, City may be of interest off scratch on the card handicap at 12-5.

In the same game, it may be worth backing Adama Traore to have two or more shots at 13-8. The winger has scored three in his last four games against City and has averaged 2.20 shots per 90 this season.

Injuries have been a running theme throughout Leeds’s season and things don’t seem to be getting any better, with Robin Koch, Pascal Strujk, Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips all options at centre-back who are doubtful for their game with Chelsea.

Luke Ayling lined up at centre-half against Brentford and is likely to have to do so again. Only recently back from injury himself, Ayling was booked seven times last term and, out of position, is of interest to pick up a card at 11-4.

Leeds's injury problems extend to up front where Patrick Bamford picked up a knock on his return.

Tyler Roberts scored last week against Brentford and may again lead the line. The Welshman has averaged 3.03 shots per 90 this season, which is in the top 15 in the Premier League, and can be backed at 7-2 to have for three or more shots in the clash.
