Manchester City are just 1-8 to rack up a 14th win in 15 Premier League games when they host West Ham but neighbours Manchester United kept up the chase with a 3-1 win at Arsenal, despite a red card for Paul Pogba.

Antonio Valencia, 35-1 to open the scoring, struck in the fourth minute to send 2-1 shots United on their way and Jose Mourinho’s men are 12-1 to win the title.

Sam Allardyce made a winning start to his Everton career as the Toffees beat Huddersfield 2-0.

The Terriers are 6-5 for relegation while Swansea are just 1-3 for the drop after Stoke came from behind to beat them 2-1.

Fellow strugglers West Ham, Crystal Palace and West Brom have changed their managers and Swansea’s Paul Clement is 4-7 with Betfair and Paddy Power to be the next Premier League boss to leave his position.

Newcastle are 11-2 for relegation after a 3-1 defeat at Chelsea, who are 22-1 to retain the title. Dwight Gayle, a 14-1 chance to score first, gave the Magpies an early lead but Chelsea hit back through Alvaro Morata and a brace from Eden Hazard.

Liverpool won 5-1 at Brighton although the top flight’s leading scorer Mohamed Salah failed to add to his tally of 12 league goals.

Leicester landed odds of 5-6 to beat Burnley at home but 8-11 Tottenham had Davinson Sanchez sent off in a 1-1 draw at Watford.

Sunderland remain in the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone after a 3-1 home defeat to Reading and bet365 offer 50-1 that they fail to win a league game at the Stadium of Light this term.
