Arsenal are 13-2 with bet365 to win the Premier League after they regained top spot from Manchester City courtesy of a thrilling 3-2 victory over Liverpool at the Emirates.

The Gunners, who opened the scoring after just 58 seconds through Gabriel Martinelli, were twice pegged back before Bukayo Saka finally sealed the contest with his second-half penalty.

It was double delight for Saka as he also grabbed Arsenal’s second and it took their record for the season to eight wins from their opening nine games.

Mikel Arteta’s side have now won all five of their league matches at the Emirates this season and they move one point clear of City, who are 2-9 for a third straight title success.

In what is their worst start to a Premier League campaign for ten years, defeat leaves Liverpool 14 points behind the pace-setting Gunners and they are out to 20-1 to be crowned champions.

Liverpool have failed to win six of their opening eight games and are already six points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea, who like the Reds have a game in hand on the top two.

Despite their sluggish start, Jurgen Klopp’s men remain as short as 4-7 to finish in the Premier League’s top four. The fast-starting Gunners are 2-9 for Champions League qualification.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Crystal Palace and West Ham both came from behind to record home wins over Leeds and Fulham respectively.
