Manchester City, who are 6-5 for the Premier League title, have the opportunity to reduce the gap on leaders Liverpool to two points when they take on Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens are no bigger than 1-10 to see off Dean Smith's side before 5-6 title shots Liverpool lock horns with Tottenham in the weekend's biggest fixture on Sunday. The Reds are boosted by the availability of full-backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson.

Pep Guardiola will be without Rodri and Aleks Zinchenko for the match with Villa but Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero should be brimming with confidence after scoring a hat-trick and brace respectively in the 5-1 dismantling of Atalanta on Tuesday.

Aguero is 10-3 favourite for the Premier League golden boot while Sterling can be backed at 5-1 to win PFA Player of the Year.

All three English sides involved in this season's Europa League won on Thursday and resume domestic duties on Sunday.

Arsenal came from behind to beat Vitoria Guimaraes at the Emirates courtesy of two late free-kicks from Nicolas Pepe, while Manchester United and Wolves beat Partizan Belgrade and Slovan Bratislava respectively.

The Gunners, runners-up last season, are 11-2 favourites for the trophy with United second in the betting at 6-1.
