Chelsea's Stamford Bridge struggles continued as 8-1 shots Southampton became the latest team to beat the Blues at home.

Bournemouth and West Ham had set the blueprint to overcoming Frank Lampard's outfit on their own patch, and Saints caused another huge upset thanks to goals in either half from Michael Obafemi and Nathan Redmond.

Chelsea are three points above Tottenham in the race for a top-four spot after Spurs came from one down to beat Brighton 2-1. Harry Kane and Dele Alli were on target for Tottenham.

Runaway leaders Liverpool made light work of Leicester in the evening's late kick-off, trouncing the Foxes 4-0 is a one sided-game at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester remain in second but are now 13 points adrift of the Reds and are as big as 200-1 to be crowned champions, with Liverpool 1-9.

Carlo Ancelotti made the perfect start to life as Everton manager with the Toffees beating Burnley 1-0 at Goodison Park.

It had looked like being a frustrating afternoon for Ancelotti until Dominic Calvert-Lewin finally broke Burnley's resistance with a diving header after 80 minutes.

There was to be no winning start, however, for new Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta following the Gunners's 1-1 draw against Bournemouth.

Dan Gosling put the Cherries in front only for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to equalise for Arsenal, who remain in the Premier League's bottom half.

Manchester United are 9-2 to finish in the top four following their comprehensive 4-1 home win over Newcastle, who are 15-2 to be relegated.

A wonderful solo effort from Jordan Ayew left West Ham in big trouble after Crystal Palace came from behind to triumph 2-1 against the Hammers. Former West Ham man Cheikhou Kouyate had earlier cancelled out Robert Snodgrass' opener.

Aston Villa eased their drop fears with a 1-0 win over relegation rivals Norwich, who slipped to the foot of the table. Conor Hourihane's goal gave Villa a victory they barely deserved against the unfortunate Canaries.

Watford moved up to 19th with a 1-1 draw away to Sheffield United.
